I would like to welcome all Fraters, Sorors, fellow greeks and those that are curious, to the Japan State Area and Nu Eta Sigma Chapter (Tokyo Alumni). It is imperative that we are in line with the National Mission Statement of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. We too agree that the brothers that make up our fraternity are the most valuable assets that we have. We also believe that every brother and those that are exposed to Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., should have a Most positive experience. We believe that the true test of any organization such as our is,"Culture for Service, Service for Humanity". In Japan we say "Houshi no Shuyo Junrui eno Houshi", which is the literal translation of our motto. Tokyo Alumni Chapter is social action conscious and was organized with this principle uppermost in our minds. Our programs of Bigger & Better Business, Social Action and Education to include our youth auxiliary (Sigma Beta Club) are outlets that others have concentrated on, to enhance their experience here on Mainland Japan and on Okinawa.
One of the main chapter motivations here in Japan, is to build community among the brotherhood, the military communities we serve as well as involving our host nation and by worth of example bring our founder's dream to Japanese soil. Membership is not restricted to only military but opened to all who meet the requirements for membership.
